Artisan Origins: Kabul, Afghanistan.

Finely crafted lapis lazuli earrings, with flowing chain elements. MAHTÂB means 'light of the moon' in Persian.

Materials: Lapis lazuli takes centerstage with this elegant pair of earrings. Created with full brass enclosures, with full double-layered gold-plating. Lead and nickel free.

Dimensions: 4cm x 3.3cm. 

Care Instructions: Please keep in a dry and cool place. To polish your artisan's craft, use a wedge of lemon, and polish along the surface with a small cotton towel.

The MAHTÂB Earrings in Lapis Lazuli is handcrafted by the artisan Massouda from the old city of Kabul, Afghanistan.

Massouda founded her own craftsmanship line titled 'Lajaward', the Persian name for lapis lazuli, after studying at the Turquoise Mountain Institute. Her contemporary creations are inspired by Afghanistan's ancient chain-makers and tribes.
