Your Artisan

This lapis lazuli pendant is handcrafted by the artisan Saeda from the old city of Kabul, Afghanistan.

Saeda is an exceptional artisan with a fierce passion for her craftsmanship. Having grown up in a refugee camp in Peshawar, Pakistan, Saeda was rendered deaf by an early childhood illness. She later learned the art of jewelry making from the Turquoise Mountain Institute in Afghanistan.

Each of her unique pieces epitomizes her strength and courage.
