The Women of Kriayt
Anne (far right) leads and empowers the women of Kriayt, by teaching them relevant skills according to their interests.
Anne decided to start Kriayt after spending 3 years in Nepal.
Anne recounted, “When we asked the women why they gave their children away, they said they have no one grain of rice. Women weren’t empowered to keep their children. That is when I thought: We have to give the women power.”
